We are the Collier's, Purvis and Shellie. Our adoption story started long ago, 14 years ago to be exact. Shellie's heart broke for orphan's in China when she was only 18 years old. Over the years it never left her heart so when she met Purvis it was discussed and decided that when the time was right they would take this journey together. Colby was born in 2012 and Gabby in 2013. We were involved in a church organization providing birthday parties for foster children. As our hearts grew for these children and we gained trust and admiration for our local foster care program, we decided that financially it would be better to foster to adopt. Before we could start, along came our third child, Alex. Before we had the chance to start God intervened. He sent a sweet family right through our front door with a little girl that broke our hearts into a million pieces for the orphaned in China. He brought our hearts right back to China where he placed it 14 years ago. We knew where our child was and we knew it was time to find him/her. We all have a purpose and part of ours is to bring our baby home and guide him to his. Will you be a part of our story? We have paid $7,000 in expenses so far and the total cost is estimated to be about $30,000. If you find it in your hearts to give, we would appreciate it. You will get a tax deductible receipt by donating through Adopttogether as well as know they have verified our adoption agency and where we are in the process.
