  Waiting & Praying

  May 7, 2026

  Hey everybody ~

  The wait continues! Our prayer during this season is that we would be a family marked by waiting well, and continue to depend on God to supply our every need. He keeps knocking our socks off with his generosity. And you are a part of this! Because of your giving, we are closer to meeting the child God has for our family. We cannot thank you enough.

  This weekend we will be serving with Both Hands, and installing flooring for a widow in our church, Vicky. Friends and family have committed to serving alongside us, local businesses donated food and drink, and a family business gave us every square foot needed to replace the flooring. God is faithful!

  If you’re in a waiting season like us, or maybe it’s something else you are carrying, my encouragement to you is this: We serve a generous, faithful God who loves to give good gifts to his daughters and sons. Hold on to Hope, friend. He sees you, He loves you.

  Active and waiting!!

  March 27, 2026

  As always, thank you for being here!!! We wanted to give our most exciting update yet and say we are ACTIVE and WAITING. This means all of our paperwork, documents, etc are in and approved, and we are now presentable to birth/expectant moms. This is a big step and we are so grateful!❤️

  Also - we have an upcoming fundraiser, Both Hands! Both Hands is a non-profit on a mission to serve both the widow and the orphan. How it works is our family will ask family and friends and our friends will ask their family and friends to sponsor our project through monetary giving, and we (along with our core team) will serve a local widow in our community, Vicky, by completing a house project for her. We will be installing new flooring in her upstairs on May 8th and 9th. As the days lead up, we will be asking local businesses and organizations to donate product and goods so we can do this project for Vicky, and our friends and families will be sending out letters to their network in hopes of donations toward our adoption.   Home Study approved!

  March 6, 2026

  Friends and family,

  I wanted to take a few minutes and write an update as many have you been asking, “So, what’s next?” 😊

  As of a Feb 17th, we are home study approved. We have a few more pieces of paperwork needing approval before we start seeing cases. Seeing cases is another way of saying we will be presented with birth/expectant moms who are choosing adoption for their child. Conner and I then prayerfully decide if we want to present our family to the mom, and then the mom will choose a family to parent her child.

  It doesn’t quite feel real to be at this point, and we praise God for his provision and peace that has gotten us to this very spot. For those of you who are holding us in prayer, we are deeply humbled and grateful. Here are some specific ways you can be praying for us:

  -Wisdom and discernment as Conner and I present to moms and dads; Pray His voice would be so clear
  -For emotional stability and peace as we trust His timing and for our family to wait well
  -Pray for the moms and dads who are choosing adoption for their child
  -Pray that the Lord would continue to provide the finances so we can bring the child/children that the Lord has for us home
  -For Piper and Florence’s faith in Jesus to be strengthened

  From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for loving us as we navigate this exciting, emotional, unknown season. Stay tuned for an upcoming fundraiser to support our adoption!

  Paperwork & Prayers

  Hello people we love!

  We are currently in a paperwork heavy stage as we work to get our home study scheduled and completed. While this isn’t necessarily a fun part, it’s necessary and good. Once this step is done, we are closer to seeing cases and being presented to birth/expectant moms. Please pray for endurance and rest and to not lose sight of The Lord as we accomplish these tasks. We couldn’t do this without you all, so thank you. We are so grateful to have you in our corner.
