We are very excited to announce we are adopting a baby through domestic infant adoption!

We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to expand our family and bring a child into our home. We can't wait to share our love of the outdoors with our child. We look forward to our first camping trip, playing in the snow, growing food together in our geodesic dome, and creating art together.

As part of our adoption process, we have started saving money, applying for grants, and taking out a personal loan. Along with these steps, we are starting a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption-related costs can easily total up to $40,000 and often more. This is why we have set a goal of $30,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.

We are in the home study process! Some upcoming costs include:

Matching Fees $17,456.00 (This includes Expectant Mother Living Expenses and Legal Fees, Agency Fees, Counseling Fees, Medical Records Review, etc.)
Placement Fees $22,862.00 (This includes Expectant Mother Postpartum Care, Attorney Fees, Agency Fees, etc.)
Travel Fees $1,500 (This includes flight, hotel, and car rental)
Post-Placement Fees $2,000 (This includes five post-adoption visits)
* These numbers are estimates from the agency because every adoption is different. We will know the fees specific to our adoption when we are matched. Every donation and share of our website helps! Adopt Together is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) U.S. charitable organization. U.S. donations are tax-deductible as allowed by IRS specifications. Once funds are raised, we will only be able to use these funds for adoption-related expenses.

We cannot wait to bring our baby home! No words can capture the true joy and excitement we feel as we anticipate the presence of a new life in our home.
