For approximately 1 year, we have been in the process of pursuing a child, most likely a male toddler, from Burundi, Africa. We would love to invite you to partner with us in this process. Community is vital in this journey,and we know we cannot do this alone. This path is not easy and there's no way to fully prepare for it, but we are trusting The Lord to guide our steps. He's the only One who puts our fears to rest. We heard Him clearly say, "This is the way. Walk in it". So we are. We will. We're stepping out in faith, not knowing what it will look like, but knowing God is already at work in the hearts of the people involved; the hearts of Central Authority in Africa, the heart of our child and the women caring for our child, the hearts of my biological children to prepare them for what is ahead. We feel it, we know it, and we can't wait to experience it. Our family is holding on to Romans 12:12 through this process, because we KNOW there is hope, we know there will be trials, and we can't imagine doing this without constant prayer.
