Adoption is once again helping our family grow!
Our experiences with foster care have helped all of us realize that our family is not yet complete. We feel that God has plans to add to our family, and adoption is the route He has chosen for us.
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a sweet baby into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may (or may not) surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more.
This is why we have set a goal of $18,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
We plan to do various fundraising activities in the next few months, but, I wanted to provide an option for those of you (like me) who would rather give $5.00 towards our dream instead of buy a dozen donuts that may or may not get eaten!
