Have you heard our big news? We are adopting! This past November we received a referral for a precious toddler named Martha living in Ethiopia. She has been in an orphanage since she was an infant, found on the side of the road at four days old, wrapped in a rag. How could we resist? Our hearts are full of love for this sweet baby girl and we are eager to get her into our arms! We are trying to raise $20,000, the amount we need to complete the adoption. After two long years, and many challenges along the way, our adoption agency unexpectedly closed in early March 2014. PRAISE THE LORD we have been able to continue to pursue Martha through a new agency. With the added fees required by the agency closure and transfer, the additional time and expense with new regulations in Ethiopia, the travel expenses for our two required trips, as well as the re-adoption payment after bringing Martha home, the costs have become much higher than we originally anticipated. It is with joy that we offer this orphaned child a place in our family. Would you help us bring Martha home? There would be no greater blessing than to know we have friends and family who have supported us through prayers, encouragement or with a financial gift. Thank you and many blessings!
