We are adopting a child!

While we have not been matched yet, we are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home.

We have had some bumps in the road trying to grow our family. A few years ago, we were expecting after trying for some time. We were preparing to be parents when, at five months along, we tragically lost our baby. Shortly after, Courtney received a breast cancer diagnosis. After a grueling year of treatments, Courtney was deemed cancer-free, and we were ready to set our sights on growing our family once again. Since the treatments have deemed it unclear if we can have a baby naturally, we have turned our sights to adoption.

We have been waiting patiently for over a year to be matched, and we would like to be prepared for the additional financial burden that will come once we are.
