is adopting a child from United States of America

We have BIG news!

We are adopting a child!

Update: As of 9/16/2018 our home study is complete and the state of Ohio has approved us to be adoptive parents!

My wife, Jennifer and I have been Married for 11 years. Unlike most married couples we are not able to have biological children of our own. Jennifer has an inherited bleeding disorder called Von Willebrands Disease very similar to Hemophilia. Because of this, she had to have a hysterectomy at the age of 22. We knew from the beginning that adoption was the option for us.

We are so very blessed to have been matched with a lovely expectant mother that is due October 4, 2018. She has picked us to be the parents of a little boy. We are so excited for this new adventure in our lives. We have an amazing family and church family ready to welcome our baby home.

We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $16,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.

We are very tight on time with the little one coming early October. If anyone is available to help we would so appreciate it. We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he grows up.

Thank you so much,

The Cox Family
