BIG NEWS: We were approached this week about a precious two-week old baby girl waiting for her forever family! This sweet baby girl is extra special - she has Down Syndrome. After 24 hours of prayer + research, we sent in an interest adoption application the next morning. By 1 p.m., we received a call telling us we would have a new daughter! We&'ve named her Eliza Marie (a blend of her given name) and we&'re on our way to meet her now! The agency has already reduced their regular fees due to Eliza&'s special needs, and we have collected all of our savings to pay the first set of fees. We have 4-6 months until we finalize the adoption in our state, and at that time we&'ll need to pay the rest of the agency and legal fees. We&'ll need $14,000 more for our agency and $2,500 for legal fees. While we stay in Eliza&'s home state waiting for inter-state adoption paperwork to be approved, God has provided us free lodging + transportation. We are so humbled + know God will use his people to continue to provide. We&'re applying for special needs adoption grants/loans, working extra jobs, and saving as much as we can, but agency, attorney, and travel fees all add up. We&'d be humbled and honored if you came alongside us financially + prayerfully as God grafts this perfect baby girl into our family.
