We have BIG news!
We are adopting a child!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $60,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $20,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
Every little bit helps and we are so thankful for those who have helped us out so much already! We have been working hard to save and been doing garage sales and did a shoe fundraiser that helped us out a bit.
Our home study has been completed and we are ready to make a profile for expecting mother's to look at. Currently we are on hold with our original agency because they have so many families waiting to adopt at this time. We are looking into some other agencies as options and are very interested in one here in our home state of AZ.
We are discouraged at the thought of having to redo the process of joining a new agency but we are praying about what to do and are still hoping to add to our family in the near future. We want to thank everyone for their love, support, and prayer as we go on this adventure!
