We have BIG news!

We have adopted a son!

We are beyond excited to welcome Cruz Declan into our family! He was born September 10 at just 32 weeks gestation and was 2.5 pounds at birth. We are still in the NICU 650 miles from home helping him grow and thrive so we can go home and traveling back and forth to see our teenagers and work.

As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. Cruz’s adoption was $35,000 and we’ve accrued surprise additional cost with our 4-7 week NICU stay out of town. This is why we have set a goal of $20,000 to help ease the financial burden it took to rescue our little man.

We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
