Aaron and Terri Culberson

are adopting a child from Mexico

19 years ago Aaron began taking High School students to Mexico on a summer Mission's Trip. But it was in the past 11 summers that we began to work with a Children's Home in the Rosarito area. Aaron instantly fell in love with the children and the mission of the home. In 2010, a 7 year old boy entered the home and the following summer met Aaron for the first time. There was an instant connection. 2 years later, Terri started attending the summer trips and instantly started having a connection with this young boy. Through our weekly trips during the summer, both Terri and I continued to interact and connect with this boy. Fast forward to this past summer and we were opened up to the idea of international adoption from Mexico (a recently new concept for the Mexican govt). That is when God really stirred our hearts and created a passion to adopt this young man.

So BIG news! We are adopting a young 14 year old teenage boy!

We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome this young man into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. We have found through this process that people, when given an opportunity, like to give to these endeavors.

Our desire is that by inviting you into this process, as our friends and family, we hope to build around this teenage boy as he grows up and give him a family that he can call his own.
