We have BIG news!
After almost 3 years of waiting, we got the call!
Excited does not even begin to describe how we are feeling to bring home baby girl Dager. What is even more exciting is that baby girl Dager is ready to bring home now! We take placement on Wednesday, February 5th and with that comes the next, and final, major payments that are due to our agency, Bethany Christian Services.
Many of you have been so generous and loving to us thus far and God has blessed our finances immensely to allow us to have covered the first $18,000 of this adoption. We also received $6,000 in grants that will cover some of the additional $13,000 that is due now and over the next 6 months. That leaves us with about a $7,000 gap that we need to fill quickly. This money will cover our second program fee ($11,500), placement fees ($2,100), and legal fees ($1,000) that are required as we take placement and finalize the adoption.
We realize that this is a big ask but we have learned throughout this process that it is one that we cannot do alone. We are grateful for whatever you can give, big and small, and see each of you as an integral part of bringing our daughter home. We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as she grows up!
