God's plans are ALWAYS bigger and better than our own. For years we have wanted to grow our family but due to many factors that dream had not come true. This past fall, we decided that our family of 3 was perfect and we were content. Just after deciding to just be us, Evan started asking when he was going to be a Big Brother. He even asked Santa to bring him a baby. After explaining that Santa doesn't give us babies, but God does, We taught Evan that when we have desires in our heart we to pray to God and ask Him to fill those desires. (Psalm 37:4) Two days after Christmas, out of the blue, an adoption agency, contacted US. They wanted to send our profile to a Birth Mom. We took this as a sign from God that His plan was not what we thought! A birth mom has chosen us to parent her baby girl! She is due April 23, 2013. The Lord has directed our steps and following His guidance we are reaching out to others for help. (Phil 4:15-19) We are often too prideful and find it very hard to ask for help and receive help.
