November is National Adoption Month, and we couldn’t think of a better time to announce that we are adopting again!
We have been so blessed through the gift of adoption. Just over 5 years ago we brought our daughter home and she has been one of the greatest blessings in our life.
We’ve known every one of these last five years that we wanted to adopt again, but life circumstances often got in our way (not to mention a global pandemic!) But we are finally at the point we are able to move forward.
This time around we are pursuing a private domestic adoption. In a time when so many do not value the life of an infant, we are so grateful for the mothers out there who show such courage and bravery in choosing life for their child by giving their child the gift of adoption.
We wanted to ask all of you to be a part of this. First and foremost, we could use your prayers, both for this process, for the birth mother, and for the child.
We would also like to ask you to prayerfully consider supporting us financially. Adoption costs can often range from $35,000-$50,000.
We have set up a fundraising page with AdoptTogether, an organization that is dedicated to helping children find a forever home. Since AdoptTogether is a 501(c)(3) approved organization, donations made directly through our fundraising page are tax-deductible, and also eligible for corporate matching gift programs. AdoptTogether also ensures that any funds raised are used solely towards adoption expenses.
