We have some exciting news to share! We are hoping to adopt!
After a few years of trying to have a biological child, we are ready to open our hearts and our home to a new member of our family by adoption. It has been in Lindsey's heart for a very long time to be a parent via adoption, and David welcomed that idea with an open heart and arms.
Our two children, Andrew (17) and Sophia (12) are excited to bring a new baby into our home as well. We are excited and hopeful that we will be sharing the news of our newest family member before long, but until then, we are saving and raising money for the big expense of completing adoption.
Adoption in the US can cost upwards of $45,000- yes we know, that is CRAZY.
This is why we have set a goal of $18,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents. We have been so lucky to have found an agency that does wonders for families hoping to adopt using an income based sliding scale and that has helped tremendously!
