Hello! We&'re the Daveys from Des Moines, Iowa. We started our adoption journey about three years ago and were very quickly drawn to Haiti. We have family histories of missions work in the country, and we&'re excited to continue that lineage. And we&'re thrilled to bring a daughter into our family in this way. (We have two energetic young boys who need a sister!) We were matched with a beautiful girl in Haiti about a year ago, and we traveled to meet her in January of 2016. We have been blessed with incredible gifts and encouragement from friends and family along the way, and we&'re so grateful for them. And the need continues. We are using AdoptTogether to raise the remaining funds for our adoption, which include our gotcha trip and final fees.
