Lord willing, WE ARE ADOPTING AGAIN!

We have been overwhelmed by the love and support we’ve received over the year and a half since Eli joined our family. Now, we’re looking forward to seeing that continue in the next child the Lord has for us. Our homestudy is complete and we are in the matching phase!

We didn’t share much publicly prior to Eli’s adoption. That is partly because of the emotional rollercoaster of infertility. It’s partly because fundraising is a big ask. And it’s partly because we felt that we should not ask for support if we were had not already made an investment.

We’ve realized though that this second leg of the journey is not something we can do alone. So, we are asking for your support!

First , we need your prayers. Adoption is a wonderful way that God builds families but it would not exist if not for the brokenness of this world.
Second , if you are able, we would love your financial support. Adoption is expensive and while we should never put a price tag on a child, the cost of legal fees, agency fees, birth mother, and other expenses is often well over $40,000 (Eli’s was). We have applied for several adoption-expense grants and have set aside some money ourselves. But, we’re asking for help. It takes a community to raise a child and sometimes it takes that same community to bring them home!
