After 13 years of marriage, we are adopting a baby! We are so excited to be preparing for this, and are working diligently to be ready to bring home a baby. We have started a crowdfunding campaign to help cover the expenses. It may surprise you to hear that adoption-related costs can easily total $50,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $50,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents. These costs also help cover the costs to the birth mother required as part of the adoption process.
