Update: We have BIG(GER) news!
We have been matched and placed! Carter has been promoted to official big brother! We are now the proud parents of a brand new baby boy!
We began showing our adoption profiles in December of 2018. On Monday, March 18 we were officially matched with a birth mother. Baby (unknown gender at the time) was due April 7, so we knew that he/she was coming soon! Amber received a text from the social worker that birth mom had been admitted to the hospital on Wednesday, March 20. Much to our surprise, we learned she would be delivering that day!
On Thursday, we met our sweet baby boy. He is absolutely precious. When we finalize our adoption, we will share pictures of his beautiful face with you! Our little guy’s arrival on the first day of spring holds such a wonderful sentiment to us.

As part of our adoption process, we are continuing a fund-raising campaign. We have set a goal of $10,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
