We are adopting!
We are very happy to share that we are a waiting family! We have our paperwork and homestudy complete, and are awaiting the call.
As many of you know, the past 4.5 years have been a difficult road for us. We have had 2 miscarriages, but the hope of growing our family is still alive in our hearts. Over the years, we have talked about adoption, but always thought it was something for the "future." In February of this year, we knew that adoption is part of our journey now. It is a honor that we are able to welcome another child into our home and family, and we know that God has a wonderful plan.
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home! As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. Adoption costs can total up to $15,000 or more. God has blessed us so far and we are continuing to save but we invite others to help be a part of our story. By being part of this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
