As many of you know, we are currently in the adoption process and very excited to one day be parents. However, as many of you know adoption can be very expensive. That is why we made this adopt together account, so that those who want to assist us can do so.
Why adoption?
The two of us have always had adopt on our heart from before we met. For Britta and her heart condition it was always option number one. Daniel never treated it as a secondary option, but more of an alternative that he knew he wanted to do because of those in his life who were adopted. Before the two of us even got engaged we wondered where our adopted children would come from and can't wait to find out the gifts God gives us.
What will your gift help us with?
As mentioned above adoption is an expensive process. At the time of writing this we are about to start our home study. After that the first of two really big expenses come up. The second is at the placement of our future child in our home. We have no idea when that will happen. As a result we not only need to make sure we have the funds for that placement, but also have all the things we need to take care of that baby. It literally can be a one day we have no baby, the next day we get a call and get one kind of moment. We appreciate any gifts that help us be ready when we get the call.
I can't give a gift of money, but I want to help, what can I do?
That's perfectly fine. We don't want to feel you have to give a gift of money. Please share this site with any groups or on social media with anyone you think might do so. Every little bit helps. And of course your prayers are a gift we love receiving.
