We are adopting a child!
After being married for almost six years and struggling with repetitive late term pregnancy losses, we have made the decision to pursue adoption to expand our family. We have a beautiful little home in Northern Virginia that's just waiting to have little ones running around, playing with the our two sweet rescued pups. We are home-study approved and just waiting to raise the funds needed to continue this exciting process. We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. While not an ideal solution, it may be the only way we can do it. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $50,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
