We have BIG news!

We are adopting a child!

Posts below this one are updates that are reverse-chronological, so check those out for the latest news. But here in this section, let us tell you a bit more about this adoption as a whole!

We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have created this page to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms hopeful, adoptive parents like ourselves.

We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he or she grows up.

For a small amount of background, we feel called to domestic, infant adoption. This means we are working with an agency who will pair us with expectant birthparents here in the United States. Once "matched" we will continue to walk whatever time left birthmother has in her pregnancy, and anxiously await the birth of our child!

• You can reach out to us for a more direct means of donation (not tax deductible, but the website won't take 5%)

Also, very importantly, we also invite you to please pray along with us and for us as we walk this next chapter of our adoption story. Adoption is a long road and there are many, many steps to be taken to bring a child home. We know God's will is perfect and His timing is sovereign, and have already felt His hand so richly in every step we've taken thus far.
