WE HAVE BLESSED NEWS!!!
We have finally begun our home study process, which is the last barrier between us and choosing the agency that is going to help us form our loving family through adoption! We are overjoyed and ecstatic with continuing our journey as we will be welcoming a loving child into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $50,000 or more. We hope to never let finances be a barrier of giving a child the love they deserve.
We will be releasing updates through posts and videos as we proceed, including information on the process itself, the various costs and fees, as well as our experiences throughout the process.
We invite you to embark and enjoy the journey with us, as we will be posting and sharing the exciting ride with you. We would be so thankful to anyone helping us reach our goal and bringing our match and new child home! It truly takes a village to raise a child.
A FUN WAY TO DONATE AND CONTRIBUTE
Many moving pieces have come together in our lives that have led us to this adoption. Many more pieces will need to be added before it is complete. We are inviting everyone we care about to become one of these many pieces and help to celebrate this moment with us.
To symbolize this, we are framing a 500-piece puzzle for our child to hang in their room to show how much they were loved by so many people before they were even here. We will write the name of the individuals that have donated on each puzzle piece to commemorate their support forever. Every $30 in donations will unlock a puzzle piece for your name to be included.

It turns out that we had to have been married for 2 years before we were eligible to adopt through many of the agencies we were looking at. Now that we've been married for two years, we are ready to hit the ground running!
Addison and I breakdown our first big step that we are going through, some costs and once this is finished it gets sent into our agency !
We hope our story gives a little more light on a personal level from us to you. Addison and I continue to have an open heart to everyone as you journey with us. Everyday we are more and more hopeful that we reach our goal for our future little one!
We wanted to connect and start the community connection. As we continue our process we will be posting more.
