Here we go again!!
On Christmas Eve, we were packing to return home from a week of vacation with family when we got the call from New Beginnings that an almost 4 month old was just placed with the agency and asking if we were interested. While we had been waiting for 2.5 years, we just never expected a Christmas surprise like this! 5 days later we had arrived home, had Christmas, hurriedly packed, and traveled down to MS. Now 3 weeks later, we are home with our Malakai Jaiden Demos and awaiting final decree of adoption.
Our older son Josiah is an active four year old and he is an awesome big brother. He's actually a third parent, letting dad and mom know that the baby is hungry or he needs to be changed when the cry begins. He loves his little brother!
We have been saving since our first adoption, not knowing exactly what God wanted for our family, but we're thankful He led our steps financially. We are excited that when we got the call we had already saved a little over 90% of our funds and are now just a few thousand short of the funds needed to complete this adoption.
