SURPRISE! We are adopting again!!!! And we are matched with a baby girl due in December. After our last miscarriage in 2019, we felt like our family just wasn’t complete. Precious Cala suggested we adopt because that had turned out so well with her brother in 2014. Ballard was in immediate agreement that adoption was the way to go. Bash is excited to be a big brother no matter how that happens!
It was hard for us to consider fundraising, but after having multiple people tell us they’d like to help, we felt like the Lord was telling us to allow people to bless us if they felt so led. For us to feel good about it, we thought using Adopt Together would be the perfect fit. Not everyone realizes adoption often costs $30,000+, and that’s the main deterrent keeping many families from adopting. We will be eternally grateful to anyone who donates, shares our page, or just prays for our family, and our first birth mother and current expecting mother.

Our sweet baby girl was born on Sunday, December 11th at 2:34pm. She came in weighing 6lbs15oz at 19” long. We got to spend time with her first mom, her sister, and her grandma (Grams), which was a massive blessing. Mama signed her surrender paperwork on Monday evening and we were all discharged from the hospital. It is such a weight, adoption, as we experienced immense joy on our parts, but our hearts broke for ladies we have come to love who were grieving at the same time. Please keep them in your prayers any and every time you think of them. We look forward to seeing them again and are grateful for the blessings they bring to our lives!
