We are adopting a child!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. Our total cost of adoption is $28,000. This cost includes agency fees, home study, legal and birth mother fees. This is why we have set a goal of $25,000 to help ease the financial burden.

Trent grew up in a small town in West Virginia where he was grounded in the arts. Growing up he studied the trumpet in both middle and high school, as well as community band and marching band. Along side his musical studies, he was heavily involved in high school and community theatre. Following his passion, Trent attended Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he earned his B.A in Arts Management.
Jay grew up in Caracas, Venezuela with his grandparents, mother and younger brother. At fourteen, Jay moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and enrolled in Pittsburgh Creative and Performing Arts school where he majored in musical theater. After graduating high school Jay became a resident performer and teacher at a local children’s theater where he learned his true passion for teaching. Jay earned his CDA and is currently working as an early childhood educator for ages 0-3.
We met in the summer of 2011 and were married in 2016. We both have always envisioned a life with children and couldn’t be more excited to embark on this amazing journey to parent and enrich our family. We strongly believe in family values in a culturally diverse home and we look forward to enriching a life by using our backgrounds to enhance our child’s life. We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
