Friends and Family, (Above photo is when we first met De'Sean) As many of you may know we were recently blessed with De'Sean Alexander. De'Sean is a delightful 3 1/2 year old who wants to be a big boy. His birthday is December 24th 2010. His favorite word is "why"? Our time in Texas meeting and taking De'Sean into our family was amazing. God established our steps and made our paths straight. Since coming home De'Sean has displayed nothing but peace and contentment at finally being in "his home" and in "his bed" near "his family". Jan is amazing in her ability to create safe regular boundaries and routine that De'Sean is thriving under. Janna and Julianna are doing a wonderful job helping care for and watching over their new little brother. We are amazed at what a good job the birth mother did in protecting De'Sean from harmful things given their circumstances. We are thankful that De'Sean is hungry to learn new things and is very teachable. We are thankful that God has given him a sharp mind and a fun sense of humor. We are thankful that he interacts very well with other children. And we are thrilled to see him absorbing truth and beginning to learn of God and his son Jesus.
