We have BIG news!

A year an a half ago a new dream started nesting in our hearts, the biggest one any couple that love each other will wish for: Wanting to become parents! We started looking for that new bundle of love. As months passed we decided to visit our doctors to make sure we were healthy and ready to start a family. In that process, we found out that infertility was a real visitor in our lives due to Dicson's chemotherapy treatment for his lymphoma Hodgkin when he was 17 years old. The reproductive organs had been affected by it. These were the toughest times we have lived together. As we thanked God for Dicson's life and healing from Cancer, we were devastated to know that this was our story.

As we healed and repeated testing, we understood pretty quick that what we had discussed during our pre-marriage courses was becoming a reality that was putting our love to the test. We had discussed that if any of us had an infertility situation, we will adopt a baby. In fact, before we started wanting to become pregnant, we considered adopting first. Adoption has opened a door to our hearts that we did not know existed. We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. God could not have wanted it any other way, that we trust!

As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $50,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $20,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents. Money should not stop a couple from becoming a family and a baby to get chance to live a life full of love.
