Joseph Dillinger

is adopting a child from China

Hello, we are the Dillinger Family. We have been married for 18 years, and have six wonderful children. Our three older children are biological and aged 11, 8, and 6. Our three younger children are special needs adoptions and aged 4, 3, and 2 1/2. Our 4 yo daughter was adopted in Feb 2012, and has limb differences. Our 2 1/2yo son (born with leg/hand deformities) and 3yo daughter (cardiac issues) were adopted in Jan 2013. This adoption was expedited, due to the severity of our daughter&'s heart condition. She had open-heart surgery one month after coming home. This will be our 4th/5th adoption within 2 1/2years. We are adopting another 2yo and a 3yo with limb differences. We have already depleted our savings on the earlier adoptions, surgeries, and prosthetics, so we are fundraising as much as possible for these adoptions. Adoption is very expensive. While we have the financial ability to care for the month-to-month expenses of 2 more children, we do not have an extra $$ in the bank to cover the cost of these adoptions. We would love your support as we work to bring home these children that desperately need a family. We are thrilled to be working with Adopttogether, as your donations are then tax-deductable. With sincere thanks, Joe and Karen, and family 04/20/2014 Initially we needed $48,000 to adopt these two children. We have been saving every spare penny, selling items, and fundraising tirelessly! We have now managed to cover more than half of the adoption costs! We still need to raise funds to cover the orphanage fees and travel expenses. We are extremely grateful for any assistance to complete these special needs adoptions. We thank you sincerely!
