After much prayer and the Lord opening our eyes to a TRUE need, we are pursuing the adoption of a little boy from China. Adoption is a reflection of the Gospel and we are completely humbled by the opportunity to serve the Lord, and this sweet boy, in this capacity. We have our LOA-Letter of Acceptance- and will are 8-10 weeks from TRAVEL!!! We are coming to get ya Max!! We have been blessed with 4 great biological kids: Lincoln-7, Millie-5, Tripp (James, III)-3 and little Adah is almost 2. We are busy homeschooling, child training, potty training and wearing multiple hats as we serve the Lord at our church- a 3 year-old church plant; Cornerstone Church of Savannah. Not to mention Jay&'s full time job. So why in the world would we desire to add another child to our full life? And a child with special needs is just crazy. Well here is the reason: there are orphans in China, hundreds of thousands of orphans in China, who don&'t know Jesus and we have a happy family with room for one of them. The crazy thing would be to leave him there any longer because we don&'t have all the answers. We don&'t know every detail but we know the God who ordained the end from the beginning.
