Caleb and Brittany's Adoption Journey
As many of you know, Brittany and I have made the extremely exciting decision to adopt. We've had a long bout with infertility and child loss over almost two years now. Although these instances and circumstances have certainly been hard and overwhelming, we still feel extremely blessed, as it has led us to open our hearts to a journey of adoption.
We are happy and nervous and are doing everything we can to prepare for a family that will hopefully soon be growing. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign, in hopes that we can raise money to help fund the many costs. Surprisingly, adoption can cost as much as $30,000 or more. By no means should you feel obligated to donate, we simply are opening our hearts to God's grace, and we already have felt such a wave of love and generosity from our friends and community. If you feel a calling to support financially, we want you to know how much this means to us, and every penny will help bring a child to a loving family. Please know that your love, support, and continued words of encouragement are enough, and our hearts are full. We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part our community, and how this will show our future child/children what love truly means.
