We are blessed to announce that our family of eight is growing, once again! This calling came as a surprise but we know God&'s timing is perfect! This summer, in an effort to help to advocate for a child in finding a home, we hosted a precious seven year old girl from China with a diagnosis of cerebral palsy, for two weeks (with a pretty pink bow). When it was time to put her on the plane back to China, we found it very difficult to do without a family committed to adopting her. This led us to feel we are to be her forever family. The calling didn&'t stop there, we recently felt an additional call to pursue the adoption of a young boy, who shares the same special need as our first three adopted children, and who I have advocated for since he was about a year old. Stepping out in faith is often scary and overwhelming. Additionally, this tends to be a time when we are further tested with obstacles that can seem too big. That is when know we are walking the right path because God has made a way around the many obstacles we felt were barriers. Showing us that He will make a way for the plans He has for us. Esther and Xavier, are the two precious hearts waiting for us in China. Ester has waited over 7 years and Xavier over 4 years for a family to call their own. We feel honored that God chose us to be that family! As you may know, bridging the gap between a waiting child and their forever family is a costly journey. While we have the day to day means to add another child to our family, the cost of international adoption exceeds our savings. We humbly ask for your help to overcome the financial hurdle.
