Seven years ago when we decided to start a family we had no idea that it would take us through heartbreaking sadness and countless uncertainties. What we did know, and what we still cling to, is God's faithfulness. In spite of the difficulties, when we look back on our lives we can not help but notice the blessings God has given us; family that demonstrates unconditional love, faithful friends, and someone to share this journey with. We can not deny, we are blessed! Yet we both know that something is missing. We still ask God on a daily basis for that one desire left unfulfilled, a family of our own. And so here we are, stepping out in faith and trusting with assurance that God will answer our prayers. As we said, He is faithful. We now understand that His plan for our family may not have been our original plan, but it is infinitely more surprising and exciting, and ultimately more fulfilling. We can hardly wait to see the beautiful child God has in store for us! So we continue to trust in Him and pray for provision in this latest step in our journey.
