As many of you know, in 2007 we embarked on a journey of faith which forever changed our family in an amazing way. We brought Meili home in October 2010 and we have been so blessed. From the day we met her, she was ours…as we marvel at her interaction with the rest of the family we would swear we have had her since birth. Since the beginning of 2013 we began to feel the rumblings again in our household about adopting. We quickly quelled them being sure they were a mistake…surely we couldn&'t do this again…we are getting older and it costs so much. This past August we realized that we could no longer deny that God was calling us to adopt. In talking with our kids about having to sacrifice to pull this off, their response was, "Well Dad, isn&'t a little girl worth a lot more than a Disney cruise?" So we are going back to China to bring home our little girl between 12-36 months of age with a correctible medical condition. This process may take between 6-12 months. Thank you for even prayerfully considering partnering with us in this journey. We are humbled by the graciousness and generosity of friends and family we have already received.
