We are adopting a child!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to prepare to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily exceed $45,000 or more - agency fees, birth mother expenses, travel, etc. - it adds up and in many cases, funds are due upfront. This is why we have set a fundraising goal of $26,500 to pair with our own savings, potential grants & loans to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up. You know what they say… It takes a village!
Our journey in becoming parents hasn’t been easy; however, we are so incredibly privileged and blessed to be on this path together. Becoming mom and dad is a dream come true for us and we are so excited to grow our family in love.
