is adopting a child from United States of America

We have JOYFUL news!

We are adopting a child!

Markee and I are blessed to be the parents of two young children. Earlier, this year we were asked to temporarily provide care for our 14-year old god daughter, Maya. We happily welcomed her into our home which also includes my parents. Circumstances have changed and now Maya is available for adoption. We are excited to become her parents, and integrate her into not only our household but our large extended family. Maya is particularly happy to be getting a Dad, and being part of a two- parent family. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. We were fortunate to find a resource that significantly reduced our costs, but we still need $7,000 to help ease the financial burden that is often a barrier to adoption and overwhelms adoptive parents.

We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the village we hope to build around our daughter, Maya as she grows into adulthood. No donation amount is too small. We know that God has this plan for our lives he will move upon the hearts of many to help us reach our goal. Anything raised beyond the requested amount will be used to continue to provide Maya with the therapeutic and tutoring services which she is currently receiving. Meanwhile, please keep us in your prayers as we embark upon this journey. Duncan Party of Five!
