We’re adopting!!!
For years, we have dreamed of what our family would look like. After two failed pregnancies, we feel as though we are being called to adopt…and we are beyond excited! We’re busy preparing and are doing everything we can to be ready to welcome a baby into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. As most of you know, adoption is expensive! We’ve paid quite a bit already to get started, and we’re hoping to fund the rest through your generosity and support. They say it takes a village to raise a child…so we’re calling on our massive village! Typical adoption costs are $30,000-$50,000+. These expenses include agency fees, homestudy costs, attorney fees, medical expenses for the birth mother and baby, and counseling for all parties. This is why we have set a goal of $20,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents. It is so, so hard to ask for financial support, but we know that we can’t do this without help. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we go through this tumultuous process.
