Thank you for taking the time to look at our adoption profile! EXCITING UPDATE!! We are now parents to Finley Hayes Eastlick! On Saturday, Nov. 26th, we received a call about a baby boy that was born in Texas on Nov. 25th. Without hesitancy, we said we wanted to be considered for this match. Well…we were chosen! The next 24 hours consisted of us buying plane tickets, getting a rental car, packing, prepping and getting absolutely no sleep in eager anticipation. Arriving at the hospital on Monday, we were taken to meet our little guy (**waterworks**) where our hearts became more full than we ever thought possible. Finley was born weighing 8 lbs 10 oz and measuring 20 3/4". He is completely healthy and perfect in every way! Originally, we expected our adoption to cost between $30-$45k. Now that we are officially matched, we are fully aware of the cost for our specific adoption. Our total cost exceeds what we anticipated previously and is around $50,000. These costs include agency fees, birth parent support, placement fees, medical expenses, travel, legal fees, etc. We have already invested thousands into this ourselves and have been humbled by the expressions of excitement & generosity we have received so far. While it is not easy for us to ask for financial support, it is with encouragement that we extend this opportunity for others to come alongside us in this journey.
