We are finally ready to share out big news with you all; we are starting a new "ADVENTURE"! Our next adventure in life will be to grow our family through adoption. When we found out we were pregnant with Damian we did not find out the gender until he was born. We always said if it was a boy we were one and done and would foster/adopt and if it was a girl then we would try for a boy. Well, little one came out a boy and our hearts are still firm with our decision and have started to process of adopting.
We knew this adventure was going to be an expensive one, however, we were shocked to see how much the costs have gone up in just over the 18-20 months we have been pondering this idea. With how everything is with the world today birth mom costs have gone up, attorney fees have gone up, agency fees have increased and the list goes on and on. With that being said we would be blessed if you wanted to link arms with us and help bring "Baby Boggess" home.
There are too many kids in the USA that need homes so we are focusing on domestic adoption right now. We truly are open to any and every case that will be presented to us. To date, we have already spent over $7,500 on our home study, agency application, background checks, profile book, etc. and that is just the beginning. When we match with an expectant mom we will be required to have anywhere from $10,000-20,000 ready to go for the agency momma is with. From there we will have to pay the remainder of the $35,000-45,000 at various times of the process. During this time after the baby is born, we will have to stay in the birth mom's state until we are cleared to return home and finish the process. This all costs money and it adds up very quickly.
