After four years of trying to conceive a child of our own and undergoing several failed fertility treatments, we have decided to adopt a child! Adoption is not a plan B for us, plan A has always been to grow our family. We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign.
Currently, we are pursuing domestic infant adoption and have chosen to work with Adoption By Gentle Care. As you may be aware, adoption is expensive. Each case varies in price depending on the birth mother’s needs, agency fees, lawyer fees, travel expenses, etc. However, on average, domestic adoptions typically cost $35,000-$45,000. We have personally been making financial sacrifices towards adoption and plan to organize fundraisers in the near future. We also want to open up a platform for anyone who may want to simply make a financial contribution.
