Cary Eisentraut

is adopting a child from United States of America

This coming May, we will celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. Looking back, we both had visions of where we'd be at this point in our marriage, but the one thing we never considered was not having children. We both come from large families and love that we have had the privilege to be a part of them! We couldn't wait to start our own! Our plan was to have a couple of children biologically and then adopt to complete our family. We began trying to conceive 7 years ago and at first we just thought it was a matter of waiting for the perfect time. Slowly time began to pass and we decided to consult with fertility doctors. We had many tests, procedures, surgeries and prayers and still we were waiting for our family. In the Spring of 2016, we were told that the doctors saw no reason for us not to conceive and that we were excellent candidates for in vitro fertilization. We both decided that we were going to take time to pray about this decision and were surprised to realize that we both had no desire to do IVF, but wanted to adopt. God worked in our hearts seperately and when Cary finally brought up the subject, we realized that we were in complete agreement! We believe every child deserves the opportunity to grow up with loving parents in a safe environment. While we are prone to mistakes and have much to learn by way of parenting, we believe we can provide a loving, God-fearing home and are ready to welcome a baby home with arms wide open. We cannot wait to be parents!
