Elizabeth & Casey C.
are adopting a child from United States of America
For ten years, we have been preparing for this child. Our path to him ran through years of infertility, surgeries, IVF, and loss, until we finally learned that endometriosis had closed the door on biological children. What it opened instead was something we didn’t expect: a deep conviction that our family would be built through adoption.
We waited. We trained. We volunteered. We completed so many home studies, we could do one in our sleep. And then, three weeks into his life, this tiny boy was placed in our arms—sick, fragile, and in need of immediate care. We stepped in without hesitation, covering medical costs out of pocket, because that’s what parents do.
Asking for help like this doesn’t come easily. We’ve worked second jobs, taken on side hustles, and paid every bill we could ourselves. But between medical care, legal work, and adoption costs, we’ve spent over $200,000 to grow our family and are now facing a final $16,000 adoption fee to bring this journey to completion.
The hardest part of this road hasn’t been loving him—it’s been paying for the privilege of doing so. Any support helps us repay these costs and focus fully on raising this beautiful, tiny life and giving him the future he deserves.
If you feel moved to walk with us in this season, we would be deeply grateful.
