When we decided to start a family, we had no idea how difficult it would be for us. Five years and varying forms of infertility treatment later, we concluded that trying to medically force a pregnancy was not for us. Its been difficult over the years to watch many of our friends and family start their own little families, but we&'ve found peace in our choice to pursue adoption which has allowed us to more easily celebrate with them. We&'ve found a bonus here, too: because of the special people in our lives having already started their families, Baby will have so many friends waiting here for her! We were excited to be matched recently with a very sweet and kindhearted birth mother. The financial undertaking has been much more significant than we had planned and now we need your help! Our incurred costs and future legal costs in order to adopt have exceeded our budget. From the agency and home study fees to the attorney and social work to complete state required paperwork - the amounts have put a strain on us during this process. We need to provide for our birth mother and baby so she has a stable environment during her pregnancy. This includes traveling to take her to doctor appointments and other support groups. We also want to give her an opportunity - a hand up, not hand out, so she can achieve her dreams and reach her full potential. We are asking for your support to make this possible.
