We are adopting a sibling group!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beauitufl niece and nephews into our home. They have been in our care for just over a year through a kinship long term care program. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. We are currently trying to seek an adoption in order to give these kids a permanent home, safe environment and long term sustainable plan. With a long term plan, come the responsibility of being able to financial assist our three nieces and nephews as well as our 3 our kids of our own. With 6 kids, sports, after school curricular, dental, housing is all something we are currently struggling with financially. This is why we have set a goal of $20,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
