We are the Andrews Family. Nathan, Rachael, Natalie, Mary, Amelia, Noah, and James. We have adopted from Ukraine and decided in March that we need to return for our daughter&'s friend Lilia, who will become unadoptable this October when she turns 16. She needs a paperwork-ready family NOW. We said yes. She is a sweet girl and very much longs for a family of her own. We were able to put together papers for her quickly, since we only needed a homestudy update, and I very quickly went to work on her dossier, and it was delivered to Ukraine this week. We hadn&'t originally asked for all the help we needed because we thought we could cover part on our own,but life circumstances with work, and bills from our recent adoption, to having to hire an agency this week to comply with new Hague laws, means we really, really need help to make this happen and get Lilia home. We have no other option, but to ask for help and just "put it out there" We have raised $5500 of our 22K through fundraising the last couple months. Subtracting what we already paid stateside, and adding a new agency fee, we are making our public goal officially $16,600. Last time we adopted we had 11 months to raise funds and we did it. This time we have MUCH less time to make this happen and, simply put, the goal looks impossible. Update 8/14. Dossier was submitted TODAY! Look how close we are to funded! I am in awe of God, and just praying to be in country for her birthday!!!
