As young college students, engaged and in love, the subject of adoption came up. Matt had a great passion for the miracle of adoption and felt led, even then, to adopt someday. Fast forward to today-2014. We have been blessed with two beautiful boys, amazing God opportunities in work and life, and blessings in abundance. We have been diligently praying and seeking the Lord and feel certain that this is the season we are to pursue adoption and welcome a child (children?)into our home. We are have completed our Home Study and we are &'ready to adopt&'!€ We have partnered with Crisis Pregnancy Outreach(crisispregnancyoutreach.org), an amazing Christian organization in Tulsa, Oklahoma. CPO is more than an adoption agency-they provide counseling, support, medical care, pastoral care and even a home to women in need- free of charge. As these women chose to place their child for adoption, families are selected. CPO seeks to meet the needs of women during pregnancy, after placement, and for life and all of this happens because of donors and volunteers, as no one has ever taken a salary in thirty years of ministry! We do not know whether we will welcome a son or a daughter. We do not know whether this child&'s race will match ours. There are many unknowns but this is true-we cannot deny the call on our family to adopt and this is the time to move forward. All donations to this site will be used to help cover adoption expenses including agency fees, home study fees, attorney fees, travel expenses, etc.
