We are The Burleson Family. Our adoption journey began eight years ago on April 10, 2006 at 10:00 am in Urumqi , China. This is the first time we got to meet and hold our oldest son . He has been a pillar of strength and inspiration for us. He has endured many surgeries to repair his cleft lip and palate and has never complained. He even answers questions for other families considering adopting cleft lip and palate children. The next chapter in our adoption journey began on July 13, 2010 in Taglaitti, Russia. This is where our youngest son became our second greatest blessing. Even though he was born with Poland syndrome it hasn&'t impeded him at all. He is a ball of energy that loves life. In 2014 we look forward to starting the next chapter in our family as we have been matched with a beautiful little girl from China&'s special focus list and are anxiously awaiting her arrival.
