We are Heather and Rick. We met fifteen years ago and have been married nearly 13 years. We are honest, loving, fun, hard-working people. Heather is a first grade teacher, and Rick is self-employed as a property manager. We enjoy spending time outside going for walks or working in the garden. On quiet evenings, we love to pop popcorn, curl up and watch a good movie. We spend a lot of time with family and friends. We look forward to the day that we can share all of these precious moments and experiences with a child. We dream of the days when we can take our child to Grandma and Grandpa&'s house, when we can read them a bedtime story each night, when we can teach them to ride a bike and all of the other growing experiences. We are excited and elated about being positive role models and loving parents to a child. We have always known that we wanted to have a family. We chose adoption after our struggle with infertility. We know we will be amazing parents. We have so much love for each other and cannot wait to share our love with a child. Your help and generosity to make our family complete is greatly appreciated.
